  *  Last year’s AGM minutes
  *  Proposed Branch rule changes
As notified on 3rd November 2019 a special resolution will take place to alter the Branch Rules of Association. In line with the undertaking at the October 2018 AGM, the Branch Committee has reviewed the Rules of Association and proposes changes to support the continual growth and longevity of the Branch through the provision of modern services (electronic funds transfer) and regular rejuvenation of the Executive Committee with in-built safeguards. In summary the changes propose to;
  1.  Formalise the requirements for the utilisation and administration of electronic banking (electronic funds transfer).
  2.  Introduce a safeguard provision that will allow a member otherwise excluded by s52(2)(b) to nominate for an Office Bearer position at an Annual General Meeting in the event that the position has been deemed a vacancy in accordance with s49(5).
  3.  General formatting corrections.
We strongly encourage members to consider nominating for the Branch committee. Without the hard work of dedicated members who volunteer their time, pursuit of the branch objectives becomes increasingly difficult. Whether you are a long-standing member or emerging practitioner your contributions are most welcome.

Member Testimonials

“As a student with very little industry exposure it was an incredibly positive experience interacting with so many industry professionals. By making friends and developing contacts, I was able to gain insights into what the industry is like directly from those working within it … another great opportunity to explore part of the industry not available to most. To other forensic science students out there, these opportunities are ones to look out for … the exposure you’ll receive to the industry is priceless.” – Samuel, speaking on his experience at the Bloodstain Pattern Analysis II workshop in April 2017.
