The NZFSS and ANZFSS offer awards to assist New Zealand members to attend the biannual International Symposium on the Forensic Sciences.

In non-symposia years, the NZFSS considers applications from both full and student member applicants wishing to attend any forensic science related conference or symposium.  Application forms for travel awards can be used for either application.

For the 2016 ANZFSS Symposium held in Auckland, the NZFSS created a special branch scholarship which was awarded to a number of NZFSS members to help them attend the Symposium.
